What does the qualification cover?
The Level 4 qualification in Management and Leadership are ideal for Junior Managers. They are designed to develop their personal Management capabilities and to grow their professional Management skills. These skills include decision-making, managing team dynamics and delegation capability.
The Level 5 qualification in Management and Leadership course is ideal for the development of Operational Managers, Divisional Managers, Departmental Managers, Regional Managers and Specialist Managers.

Who is it suitable for?
The qualifications are aimed at practising Managers and Leaders who are typically accountable to a Senior Manager or Business owner. The primary role of a practising or aspiring Manager and Leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy.

What are our entry requirements?
TQUK level 4 in Management and Leadership or any equivalence

Do you need to be working to take this qualification?
Work placement is not essential for this module. However MITQ will highly recommend its students to gather work placement experience in order to improve their professional skills. During placement, learners will get our guidance and support needed to prepare them for real work environment.

How is this qualification structured?
At Level 4:-
• The course is designed to improve your Management skills and techniques, ensuring that the knowledge you acquire while will assist you in your Management role in your current or future workplace.​
• The assignments required to gain your qualification, will allow you to apply theories and management models to practical work situations. These in turn will develop your problem-solving skills which you can apply to your work environment.

At Level 5, learners will:-

Gain the knowledge of the essential models and theories of Management and Leadership whilst ensuring your team achieves their organisational objectives

Enhance your management skills and techniques, individual qualities and approaches, vital for a successful career advancement in management

Increase your knowledge and understanding of how a Manager should lead, handle processes and guide people

Apply the learnt theories and models to practical situations within your workplace, helping you to influence work place problems more effectively while you study the course
How is it assessed?
All units are internally assessed by your Tutor through assessments and a portfolio of evidence. At the end of our academic year TQUK will carry out an External Quality Assurance of the qualifications.
To gain this qualification the learner will need to:
• Pass all units
• Complete all marked assignments and coursework

At Level 4, learners ust achieve a minimum of 37 credits:
• 26 from the mandatory units in Group A
• a minimum of 11 from the optional units in Group B
​
At Level 5, learners must achieve a minimum of 39 credits:
• 20 from the mandatory units in Group A
• a minimum of 10 from the optional units in Group B
• a minimum of 9 from the optional units in Group C
​
How long does it take to complete?
These 2 qualifications will take 10 months to complete.
